My why
People often ask why I became a photographer.. The simple answer is because I love photographs.
The deeper answer is because I understand what they become. A photograph starts as a moment. A fleeting second.
A laugh.
A touch.
A glance.
A season of life that feels ordinary while you're living it.
And then time passes. Children grow. Parents grow older. Homes change. People move away. Loved ones leave this earth.
Suddenly, what once felt ordinary becomes priceless.
A photograph becomes a doorway back to a memory. A reminder of how someone smiled. The way they looked at you. The people who gathered around your table. The season you thought would last forever. Life moves quickly. Far more quickly than we realise while we're living it.
That is why I do what I do.
Not simply to create beautiful images, but to preserve the people, moments, and memories that matter most. I believe photographs are one of the few things we carry with us through every season of life. They become family heirlooms. They tell stories long after we're gone. They allow future generations to see where they came from and who loved them. Every time I pick up my camera, I am reminded that I am being entrusted with something incredibly valuable.
Not just a session.
Not just a wedding.
Not just a family portrait.
A memory.
And that responsibility is something I never take lightly.
The Foundation Beneath It All
As important as photography is to me, it is not the foundation of my life.
Jesus is.
This business exists because of His grace. Every opportunity, every booking, every client, every photograph, and every blessing has come from His hand.
I believe God cares about every detail of our lives, including the work He has called us to do. Because of that, I strive to run this business with integrity, excellence, humility, and gratitude.
Not for recognition.
Not for success.
Not for praise.
But as an act of worship.
My prayer is that every person who interacts with this business would feel valued, served well, and loved.

A Prayer for This Business
Abba Father,
Thank You for the gift of this business and for allowing me to do what I love. I commit this business, my clients, my finances, my creativity, and my future into Your hands. Establish the work of my hands according to Your will and purpose.
Lord, You know every need before I speak it. I trust You to provide the clients, opportunities, equipment, finances, and resources needed in Your perfect timing. Give me wisdom in every decision I make. Show me which opportunities to pursue, which to decline, and how to steward every blessing faithfully.
Surround this business with Your favour. Open doors that no one can shut and bring the right people across my path.
May every photograph I take, every email I send, every client I serve, and every project I complete be done as an act of worship to You. Protect this business from anything that is not of You. Guard my heart from fear, comparison, pride, and discouragement.
When bookings are slow, remind me that You are my provider.
When I am uncertain, remind me that You are my guide.
When I am afraid, remind me that You are faithful.
Lord, let every image I create bring beauty, joy, and encouragement to those who receive it. Bless my clients and their families. Protect them, provide for them, and allow me to serve them with excellence and kindness.
May this business never be about me, but always about glorifying You through the gifts You have given me.
